The band is a Registered Charity funded through a mixture of member subscriptions, hall rental and event fees. This modest income currently enables us to operate on a day-to-day basis and provide a number of instruments to our current players.
To expand our training and learner band activities, we we are keen to attract sponsorship and donations, both from local companies and individuals. Having bought 25 cornets to start a brass group at Blewbury School, we are now keen to buy a cross-section of other instruments and a variety of motivating and fun-to-play music.
Please support the band for free when shopping online with over 2000 popular retailers, including Tesco, Sainsburys, Argos, M&S, John Lewis, Debenhams, HMV, Vodafone, DELL, The Body Shop, PLAY.com, Interflora and many more! Just click here for more details.
If you prefer, just text 70070 with BAND25 and the amount you would like to donate. So, if you would like to donate £50, text BAND25 £50 to 70070. Being a Registered Charity, you’ll then be asked if you would like to add Gift Aid! 100% of your donation will reach the band. What could be simpler?

The band is always looking to grow its repertoire, so we are are looking to grow our music library and your sponsorship enables us to do this We are currently looking to purchase the following, at an average cost of £30 per piece. Please click here to see the pieces you can currently help us with.
Tuition sponsor
To encourage the maximum number of young people to take up brass, and to launch them into a lifetime of musical enjoyment, we want to be able to offer professional music tuition free of charge. To do this we’re keen to attract several tuition sponsors. Please click here to learn how you can help.
Instrument sponsor While we do encourage players to buy their own instrument once they are a committed player, an exciting flow of new and young learners means we need to buy several mid-range instruments. Please click here to see details of instruments we are hoping to buy.
Uniform sponsor
While many bands have grand tailored uniforms with gold braid (and, sometimes, caps), the Blewbury & District Brass Band is more informal than that. Our uniform is royal blue poloshirts and sweatshirts, embroidered with the band’s colourful logo. Each year we spend about £250 on uniforms for new players and to replace “worn out” uniforms for our longstanding members. Please click on the donate button above or contact our Treasurer (treasurer@blewburybrassband.org.uk😉 if you would like to sponsor the annual cost of our uniforms.
Concert sponsor
Concerts are great fun for appreciative audiences, wonderful showcases for the band, and fundraising opportunities. For us to put on a concert (for instance at Cornerstone in Didcot) it would normally cost in the region of £300 for the venue. Would you be willing to sponsor the venue cost, to enable us to put on a concert? Please click on the donate button above to become a Concert Sponsor (via PayPal or using your debit/credit card) at a cost of £300, or contact our Treasurer (treasurer@blewburybrassband.org.uk; for more details.
