WHERE TO FIND US
All rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in the school hall at the Band Hut. The map below pinpoints both Blewbury School and our band hut.
Learner Band rehearsals are from 6.30 pm – 7.15 pm, and Main Band rehearsals are from 7.30 pm – 9.15 pm. Feel free just to turn up, although even better if you contact us beforehand (so we can put out a chair and music stand for you!).
While we now rehearse back at our Band Hut is on Boham’s Road, Blewbury OX11 9HF, just 50 yards up Boham’s Road from the A417, on the righthand side, beside the tennis courts and recreation ground. The hut is well marked, with a large logo/sign outside. Boham’s Road is immediately opposite Savage’s Greengrocer and Garden Centre (which is on the A417, also called the London Road).
Hi there! I love the new website (or maybe not so new, I just discovered it). Very informative, and good to see how you are getting local sponsors interested now. Encouraging news about the learners’ band and Step Up scheme, I will mention the idea to our band, which has Junior and Training bands but looking to strengthen the links between them.
