Whatever instrument you play (so long as it’s brass or percussion!), you’ll be most welcome at the Blewbury & District Brass Band. A friendly bunch of people, we have players of all ages (from young to “older”) and of all standards.
Our Main Band welcomes players from approximately Grade 4 or 5 standard upwards. New players are most welcome to attend the Main Band rehearsals, after which the Section Leader and Musical Director will confer and decide whether to offer a permanent seat in the band.
We also have a Learner Band for players (also of any age!). Don’t worry if you don’t have your own instrument, we can provide you with one.

Band subscriptions are £40 per annum plus £40 if you use a band instrument, or half these amounts (ie £20 subs plus £20 instrument rental) if you are in fulltime education, unemployed, or retired.
To ensure that money is never a barrier to playing with the band, we offer Band Bursaries for adults and children to cover 100% of annual band subscriptions and instrument rental. We invite you to email the Band Treasurer (treasurer@blewburybrassband.org) in confidence for more details.
