We played to open the Christmas Tree Festival at start of December. This time we played in doors due to the weather. We enjoyed the warmth, but were split on whether this improved the atmosphere.
Hire our Hall
To hire the hall please check availability and book online.
Blewbury Brass Band is very fortunate in having its own purpose-built rehearsal room – The Sonny Wilson Rehearsal Hall, situated next to the new sports pavilion, cricket ground and tennis facilities. The rehearsal room is spacious and heated, has a large car park and has disabled access including to the toilet facilities.
The band relies upon hall rental to fund many of its day to day activities and also recognises that we have a responsibility to encourage new musical talent in the surrounding area. To this end the band hall is available to rent at a reasonable rate that covers costs but remains affordable to budding musicians.
Hall Hire
The hall is available to other organisations who want a rehearsal area for musical groups and similar events, subject to the approval of the Band Committee. It is ideal for musical groups who don’t want to disturb neighbours when they practice – we don’t have any neighbours!
The fee for using the hall is currently £18 for the first 2 hours and £8 per hour (or part hour) for bookings over 2 hours.
To hire the hall please check availability and book online.
