0 Father Christmas arrives in Blewbury!
The band brought festive cheer to the Style Acre Christmas Fete this morning at Savages. We played some of our seasonal favorites, and were lucky enough to accompany Father Christmas on his sleigh journey around the village. We were also joined by passers-by who helped the band with a lively performance of ‘Jingle Bells’!
Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Style Acre Tea Room for the lovely tea and coffee they provided for the band. We hope your event successful and you have a lovely Christmas!

0 BLB Christmas Concert Friday 15th December 7pm
Blewbury Learner Band Christmas Concert is on Friday 15th December 7pm in the Melland Room, Boham’s Road, Blewbury OX11 9HF.
Come and listen to BLB play a selection of music including marches, pop tunes, Christmas songs and carols. Tickets £2 (adults), 50p (children) available on the door which includes a glass of wine or fruit juice.
0 Remembrance Sunday
BBB were pleased to join Blewbury Village in their Remembrance Service earlier today. Lead by Neil, BBB joined the congregation in playing several powerful hymns before Bruce played The Last Post. We then moved to the War Memorial for the laying of the wreaths, before playing our final hymn of the day, ‘Aberystwyth’.
It is always an honour for our players to be part of the village’s Remembrance Service. Thank you to the organisers for your support

BBB will be supporting Blewbury’s Christmas celebrations when it plays carols on the Playclose on Christmas Eve. Come and sing some carols and meet Father Christmas.

BBB will be playing carols at the Style Acre Christmas event to be held at Savages, Blewbury on Saturday 9th December at 11am. Come and meet Father Christmas whilst listening to the band. A great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping!

Come and hear BBB performing at the village concert at Blewbury church. The concert starts at 8pm and will feature the band along with other ‘turns’. There will be plenty of carols for you to enjoy.
