0 BBB entertains the crowds at Upton Fete
A grey, drizzly afternoon was no deterrent to the Band who put on a fine performance in the village hall at Upton Fete. In our final fete of the season, the band played all its favourite tunes including Cruella De Vil, Singing in the Rain and Candyman. A local morris group was also performing and we joined forces for a memorable playing of the Floral Dance.
Thank you to the organisers for supplying tea in the interval and we hope you all had a lovely afternoon.
0 BBB play at Upton Fete
Blewbury Brass Band will be playing at the Upton Fete during the afternoon of Saturday 17th September.
Apart from Blewbury Brass Band, highlights of the fete include a dog show, delicious jams and chutneys, and tea with an extraordinary variety of cake!
0 BBB open Blewfest
The band ignored the grey, drizzly weather to open Blewbury’s very own music festival; Blewfest. Playing in a large marquee, the band did a 30 minute set playing our favourite tunes from the summer programme. The audience particularly enjoyed Candyman, It’s Raining Men and, of course, Singing in the Rain! Hopefully the wet weather did not keep the people away and the event was a great success.
0 BBB to play at Blewfest
Come and hear that Band at Blewbury’s own one-day music festival. Free-of-charge, this event takes place on Blewbury School playing field on Saturday 10th September. Come and support your local bands!
0 BBB to perform with East Hagbourne Choir
Come and see the band in action in the beautiful surroundings of All Saints Church, North Moreton on Saturday 1st October at 7:30pm. This will be the second joint concert with East Hagbourne Choir and promises to be a thrilling evening. Blewbury brass band are working on an exciting new programme and also hope to perform an item with the choir.
