Blewbury picks up award!
The Blewbury Brass Band was nominated at the prestigious Tony Music Awards in the village earlier tonight. The band was in the ‘Best Heavy Metal’ category and fought off some tough competition (from Metallica to Dame Nelly Melba!) to be successfully awarded the prize. The band dusted off their finest black tie dress and treated the audience to a performance of ‘Hot Stuff’.
We would like to thank the organisers for staging such an entertaining event, and inviting us to play at such a glamorous occasion.
