Blewbury Brass Band will be giving an open air concert in the Bandstand, Victoria Park, Newbury, on Sunday 28 June from 1500-1700.
Seats will be available, but there is also lots of grass to sit on. How about bringing a rug and picnic tea, to enjoy listening to the band playing a wide selection of brass band favourites.
0 bbb Joint Concert with Blewbury Choir
The band will be giving a joint concert with Blewbury Choir in Blewbury Church on Saturday 27 June (starting at 8 pm).
Both music groups have performed in the Church before, but never together. The programme will be light and varied and we do hope you will come and join us.
Tickets are £10 each, with a complimentary glass of fruit juice or wine, and are available from the Blewbury and Hagbourne Post Offices and Band/Choir members.

0 bbb at East Hagbourne Fete
Blewbury Brass Band will be playing at the Hagbourne Fete on Saturday 13 June 2015, which will be held at the Hagbourne School in East Hagbourne. The band will start the fete by leading the fancy dress parade around the playing field at 1.45 o/c.
The East Hagbourne Fete raises funds for the local church, and is one of the most lively fetes in the area.
0 bbb at the Wallingford Beer and Blues Festival
The Wallingford Beer and Blues Festival Festival Committee has most generously decided that the Blewbury Brass Band is to be one of the local causes to whom 2015 festival profits will be distributed. We’re hugely grateful since this will enable us to buy additional instruments so that more local children can start learning a brass instrument.
We intend to provide volunteers to assist at the festival on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June and, while we have a prior commitment to play at the Hagbourne Fete on the afternoon of Saturday 13 June, there’s also a possibility that the band might be invited to play.
Beer and Blues? Try keeping us away!
0 bbb Learner Band at the East Ilsley Sheep Fair
The Blewbury Learner Band are delighted to be playing at the East Ilsley Sheep Fair on Sunday 7th June, from 1230.
Sheep fairs have been held in East Ilsley, Berkshire since medieval times and at one point they became the second largest in the country after Smithfields in London, with drovers walking for miles to buy and sell. The fairs ceased in 1934 but were revived in the early 1970s as an annual village fete.
A great fun day out for the whole family!
