0 Didcot Rotary Club enables bbb to buy 2 cornets
Huge thanks to the Didcot Rotary Club for generously awarding the Blewbury Brass Band a £500 Community Grant.
This will enable the band to buy 2 more cornets for our growing number of learners. A presentation of the cornets will be arranged and photos of the occasion will be splashed around the county!
The band welcomes learner players (whatever your age!). Do contact us if you, one of your children, one of your parents, or somebody else you know would like to start learning a brass instrument…whether a cornet, horn, trombone, baritone, euphonium or tuba! Click here for our contact details.
0 bbb Principal Cornet passes Grade 8…with Merit

Bravo and congratulations from the whole band, Andrew.

0 bbb at West Ilsley Fete – July 2014
0 bbb at West Ilsley Fete
Blewbury Brass Band will be playing at the West Ilsley Fete on Sunday 13 July 2014.
While the fete runs from 12 o/c to 4 o/c, the band will be playing from 1315-1600.
The venue for this fete is spectacular – a huge village green – and the fete always has a wide range of classic stalls and activities.
0 CONCERT TIME: Beginner Band and Learner Band
The Blewbury Beginner Band and Learner Band will be giving an “End of Term Concert” this evening (Saturday 12 July) from 6.30 PM in the Blewbury School main hall, Westbrook Street, Blewbury OX11 9QB.
Everybody is welcome to come along (whether family, villagers, or plan-and-simple music lovers) and refreshments will be served afterwards.
There is no charge for entry – the more the merrier – and there is plenty of parking.
With a growing number of players (both young people and adults), t’s amazing to see the enthusiasm within both the Beginner Band and Learner Band, and to hear the music they are making under the Musical Director baton of Judith Atkins.
BRAVO to one and all!
0 bbb at Compton Fete

The fete is preceded by the Compton Harriers Fun Run and Youngster Fun Run.
