All change at the top!
Many congratulations to Ian Barlow and Judith Atkins for being appointed as Musical Directors of the Main Band and Learner Band, respectively.
Huge thanks also to Bob Knight for his 6 years as our Main Band Musical Director, the pinnacle of his 26 years membership of the Blewbury Brass Band. Under Bob’s direction, bbb has moved significantly forward – not an easy task (especially given a healthy dollop of unpredictable personalities in the band). The band is now stronger and more vibrant than it has ever been – a great launching pad for Ian. Our strong hope is that Bob will continue with the band as a player (albeit after a well earnt “sabbatical”).
